Danette Watt

I’ve been a freelancer since before 1998 when I earned my journalism degree and later, my masters in communications. I love to read – mostly non-fiction and action thrillers. I can’t remember when there hasn’t been a newspaper delivered to my home – yes, I still get two newspapers thrown into my yard seven days a week! – and I listen to NPR all day. I guess you could say I’m a news and information junkie.

I'm a member of an organic farm and love to work out so you'll be reading hubs about those topics.

Here’s where you can find me around the Internet:

What if you had five minutes to pick the brains of one of the “great minds” in history? What would you ask him or her? Great Minds Speak takes a unique approach to ideas, inventions and innovations. Written in a question and answer format, each story is written in the style of a journalist interviewing a historical figure. It’s a (slow) work in progress but feel free to leave me a comment on what I have so far or offer a suggestion for topics.
